I am having a super hard time with Quinn right now.  He is just not listening to me.  Grrr, it is so frustrating, but I have been trying to keep on top of him, and I think that is why it has been worse lately. but man, I could just scream tonight.

There is a Quinn story out of it though.  (I know I haven't been posting enough o the the good ones, and I will do better, promise).  This afternoon, Quinn was disciplined for disobeying.  It was fine, and we were talking after, and he kept saying that I am mean, and he should hit me.  Well, he popped me in the nose.  I think he was as surprised as I was, but I had to deal with that.  We have a zero tolerance for hitting.  After that discipline, he was really upset, and said he wanted to go to a new home.  He was yelling that I am a mean mom, etc.  after a few minutes of his melodrama, I decided to take him by the hand, and take him to the front door.  I said that his mommy and daddy love him more than anything in the world, and no one could ever love him more, but if he wanted to go out and find a new home, I would let him.  He looked out the door to the big wide world, and turned around and hugged me.  He said sorry, and that was that.
I don't think I can do that one again, if he tries it, so I will need new tricks. seriously, he's only 3, and threatening to run away from home???? Bleck.
