Visitors!

On Sunday. we had some special company.  HC's parents came up for the day.  Quinn really misses them a lot, so it was nice to have them up.

I love this one, Charlie looks like she's going to smack her nana!

Papa was very happy that Charlie enjoyed hanging out with him.  She really did like just chilling with her papa.  She was in pj's because she smashed an entire plate of bananas into her hair.  |
It was fun having them visit, and we wish they lived closer so they could visit more!

Walking on Sunshine

Even though it makes me sad...Charlotte is getting very good at her balancing.  And this morning, dhe thought it would be good to take her walker out for a spin.

She really enjoyed it, and kept walking on around the house.  I think she will be running me ragged very soon...

Baptism

HC was baptised on Sunday.  It was so much fun, and we even kept it a secret from my rents.  Of course, we didn't tell Quinn...

  

There were 45 people that ended up getting baptised, it was so cool!!


I am so proud of my man, and how he gave a nice (short) testimony.

The Unique World of Princess Auto!

Yesterday was HC's birthday.  He doesn't like to celebrate his birthday,  but when I asked what he wanted for his birthday dinner, he asked for a dinner out without children.  Oh, my, so that we did.  the dinner was not good, but the time away and company was very good.  We also stopped at a little store on the way home.

HC has a love for a store called Princess Auto.  It is a weird and fun little store that carries many useful products for the garage and home.  He has been a loyal customer for many, many years.
He was able to find a super practical new item they have begun to carry last night, and took pictures because it is such a grand item.

Now what parent hasn't had their moments in the car, with too many stops along the way?  I have been there, and I am now intrigued about such a wonderful product!!!

It is the E.Z.P.!!!!!!  WOW, it is a really great way for your children to PEE IN YOUR CAR!!!! Oh my, I don't even want to know about how to use this product.

Thank goodness they included detailed instructions on how to PEE IN YOUR CAR!!!!

Ok enough of that, besides, as HC so bluntly put it, "That is what empty pop bottles are for!"  I am so glad he has a great sense of humour... at least I hope he was joking...

We actually did find a neat item to buy

It is for the kids and comes with 30 special coins that go into the machine.  Each coin allows 30 minutes of tv or video game time.  The kids earn the time, or can be punished by taking it away.  Right now, though it is just a fun novelty, but I know the days are coming....

Today Shawn and Quinn went outside to clean up the yard.  Well once miss Charlie heard all the commotion of the tractor, she was standing at the door jumping up and down to see what was going on.  I had to take her out and let her get on the tractor, for her to calm down.  You would think the loud noises would scare a baby, but she LOVED it!  I guess having Quinn around makes a baby used to loud noises ; )
